Dr Duncan Siegfried
After qualifying from Onderstepoort in 1989, Duncan spent a number of years working in London. He is particularly interested in internal medicine, as well as spoiling his patients with plenty of biltong! Duncan established the practice in 2001.
Dr Felicity Hobbs
Dr Felicity graduated from the University of Pretoria’s Onderstepoort Veterinary Science School in 2011. She also has a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education both from the University of Cape Town. Dr Felicity joined Hillside in 2016 and has been such a welcomed addition to our team. She is an outstanding Veterinarian with an attention to detail that even Dr Duncan is blown away by 😉 During her free time Dr Felicity loves running and is currently planning her wedding.

Sr Kate Van Wyk
Sr Kate joined us in January 2016. She qualified from Onderstepoort in 2013 and has been working in the lovely town of George since then. Her favourite part of the job is the post operative care of patients. She loves reading and her absolute favourite creature is a lilac Burmese cat!
Clare joined Hillside in 2018 having worked in marketing since completing her BA in English and media at UCT. In her spare time Clare likes to run up the mountain with her husky, she also enjoys cycling and yoga. It’s safe to say that she is a dog person but loves all animals and hopes to become a vet someday!
RIP – Mr White Cat
Mr White Cat was something of a celebrity at Hillside Veterinary Clinic! He claimed Hillside Veterinary Clinic as his new home, after being found in a drain. He basically ran the practice and could usually be found lounging on the reception counter ignoring all us simple humans. Mr White Cat was totally deaf but that did not stop him from living life to the fullest! We will never forget this handsome chap!
